Six Mile Creek Vineyards first opened it’s doors in 1987 making it one of the oldest members of the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail. Original owners, Roger and Nancy Battistella lovingly worked to provide Ithaca with it’s first vineyard and tasting room. Originally producing only 250 gallons of wine in our first year, production has since expanded to over 10,000, as well as a full line of grape based spirits and liqueurs! Since 2015, current owners Mark and Amy Renodin have worked to expand the Six Mile product line while holding a high standard of service and production. We not only strive to make your wine trail experience with us professional and knowledgeable but fun and memorable as well. We hope to see you soon!
Six Mile Creek's tasting room resides inside a beautifully restored 19th century Dutch Colonial Barn and offers a welcoming environment to sample wines and spirits from the Finger Lakes. The inside of the barn, which underwent extensive remodeling in 1997, includes a large tasting room and deck overlooking the vineyard. An event room added in 2003 accommodates various events throughout the year, and, of course, acts as second tasting room on busy weekends. Open seven days a week, the tasting room is a great place to begin a trip to Ithaca and the Finger Lakes. Whether you would like to sample some delicious wine, enjoy a glass on our deck overlooking the scenic Six Mile Creek Valley or get some great recommendations from our knowledgeable staff on local restaurants and places to visit – Six Mile Creek is well worth the stop.
